Check out these useful tips for getting the most out of Chime Time.

Controlling Chime Time

• You can turn off Chime Time by unchecking the Enable chimes checkbox. When Chime Time is turned on, it will play clock sounds at the top of the hour and on the half-hour. Some clocks support sounds played on the quarter-hour.
• Adjust Chime Time volume using your Notification volume setting and Chime Time's volume slider. Set the Chime Time volume slider lower if you want it to be quieter than other notification sounds. Tap the play button next to the the volume slider to hear the current volume.
• You can adjust your Notification volume with your device's volume buttons while Chime Time is visible. You can also adjust it from your device's Settings app, selecting Sounds and then Volume. If you select "Use incoming call volume for notifications", then Notification volume setting will match Ringtone volume. This is helpful if you always want them the same.
• Your currently selected clock shows in the dropdown within Chime Time. Tap it to choose a clock that you have purchased and installed. One nice mantel clock is included with Chime Time. Tap "Get more clocks" to buy additional clocks. Keep checking back for new additions!
• Tap on the clock image for more information on the selected clock. Tap again to return to the image.
• Chime Time clocks will sound throughout the day by default. To limit the times when clocks sound, tap on "Chiming times" and can choose whether to sound throughout the day, or for a time range. Tap the back button to return the main screen.
• As a convenience, Chime Time clocks will stop sounding temporarily if you shake your device. Select "Shake to stop" and set the sensitivity slider. You can test your setting by tapping the play button, and shaking your device. Note that with "Shake to stop" enabled, you may miss a chime if device is shaking at that time.

Purchasing additional clocks

• When you buy a new clock, it will appear in Chime Time the next time you open it. Note that you will not see any Home screen icons for purchased clocks. They will appear only in Chime Time. You can uninstall a clock in Google Play 'My Apps'. You can also uninstall a clock in Settings/Applications/Manage applications.
